I had this intense desire to paint a chair. It came to me as I was falling asleep a few nights ago and it would not let go of me! I noticed that at a certain time in the afternoon, the sun hits our weathered backyard IKEA folding chairs and they somehow become architecturally interesting...So yesterday, I painted one of them. I still feel awkward doing acrylics but it helps to lower expectations and just let things happen :)
